Welcome to my Wildlife Art page. I am an artist based in Norfolk, UK. My subjects are mainly birds, though I also paint other wildlife and (occasionally) landscapes. I was elected a signatory member of Artists for Conservation in 2014.
Inspired by contemporary bird artists such as Robert Greenhalf, Nick Derry, James McCallum and Darren Woodhead I try to paint and sketch outdoors as much as possible.
Most of the drawings and paintings here concern things I encounter in my home county of Norfolk, England - not the rarities, but the everyday wildlife of field and hedgerow, marsh and shore. A few paintings of things from further afield have crept in though.
If you want to have a proper look at any of the images in the slideshow opposite then spend a few minutes exploring the various sections of the site. Many of the captions contain information about the circumstances behind each painting.
As well as a gallery of paintings currently for sale I have included another section showing selected recent artworks which have found homes throughout the UK and North America. I am also a Signatory Member of Artists for Conservation (AFC), and selected paintings and prints are for sale through their website to raise money for wildlife conservation - see 'Contact' section.
I hope you enjoy looking at my artwork as much as I enjoyed producing it!
